In times of war, we can say it's a pleasure to meet so notable recruits to this newest generation of the Knights of the Dragon Eye, an Alliance guild based on the Hakkar PvP server.

There have been times when a danger upon the world required the services of single individuals. Since 7 years ago, an advanced, vast of power and depravated, bizarre organization known as the Undead Scourge threatened the very existence of our world. Every new attack marked with the use of very advanced weaponry and increased number of foul creatures, evil incarnations of long fallen dead heroes, born from, and feeded by the blood and flesh of their victims.

Posing as Alliance armies when attacking Horde and viceversa, the Undead Scourge realized what they came for, seeding chaos across the world, putting it on the brink of war and total annihilation before their final assault on Azeroth.

These attacks are all the work of a single entity, the former and fallen paladin Arthas Menethil, now known as the Lich King.

On the edge of a weakened non-aggression treaty between Horde and Alliance since the Battle of MT Hyjal, both sides see eachother as a potential enemy, seeking their military and magic power, the same used when they fought togheter against the Legion in Hyjal and saved the world.

Once again, like the old generations, the efforts of a team like ours are needed. Before embarking to the northern reaches to meet Highlord Tirion Fordring, we must gather 25 members, fully skilled in any class. We have some months before the next attack of the Scourge's Necropoli on Azeroth capitals. Time is running out!

Dragon Eye Crew needs you. Will you accept and join us?

As you can see, we're late for Kara, Gruul, and whatever raid instance TBC has to offer, so our recruiting efforts are now dedicated to the upcoming Wrath of The Lich King expansion and it's endgame content.

We must gather as many members as possible, no matter what race, class, or level they are, our objective is to train them to 70 (and eventually 80 on WoTLK), have them well geared, attuned, and more important: If they're good players, make them better.

This also will mark the beginning of the improvements to our Crafter system, eventually allowing more trusted members to become Crafters and help the overall guild PvE efforts by developing a good base for raiders to make good gear, potions, enchantments/inscriptions* to help achieve an overall sucess of our team, as well as newcomers and low level members to grow up with the guild and be prepared once they reach the level cap.

From now on, feel free to recruit anyone, any race, class, and level, and make sure they understand and agree with our rules. If possible, tell them to invite their friends too.

Post guild invites whenever it's possible on Trade channel, official WoW Hakkar and Guild Relations/Recruitment forums. A good example of what you can post, is:

"Dragon Eye Crew, a casual, family friendly PvE guild is recruiting new members of any class and level. We love  PvP raiding and helping eachother with instances too. We have Vent, a Tabard, Guild Bank, and Forums. Our objective is to be one of the finest PvE endgame guilds this server can offer. PST Orisai or Jerlin (ingame) for more information or invite."

We have a lot of time to make this guild the best in our server, as WoTLK won't be available till Christmas or maybe January next year.

* This feature will be available as scrolls in WoTLK and can be sold in the AH or deposited on the guld bank.

Orisai,

I'll admit I owe a lot to the guild, having joined as a mid-20, and built up to a high 50 (lvl 58 as of this post) with the assistance of guildees. What can we do as a guild to continue to bring in a develop players. I know as I'm grinding or just trying to lvl through instances, I get bored, and look to offer help to lower lvl players but it seems we're all doing our own things. Although I'm not in the 60's yet, I'd like to be able to "give-back," (as well as tag along for with our high lvls) but it seems like we need to get the word out to the lower lvl folks to start asking to tag along through mid- to higher-lvl instances.

Any thoughts on how to go about it?
